Anyways, my students have been loving the math surveys. We did another one today. Since this was only our second time really doing these, I made sure the activity was pretty structured. Students had to find a partner, ask their partner the question, record their answer, and then have their partner do the same. I would not let the students switch partners until I gave the cue for the switch. This way I made sure everyone only asked 10 other friends. It worked out really well. I was very excited to see their graphs match their tally marks!
I have made two freebie math surveys. I provided a color and black & white version of each. Just click on the image below to get yourself a free copy! Please let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. :)
Tomorrow we will be finishing up our penguin unit and talking a bit about Martin Luther King, Jr. Tomorrow is Friday.....can I get an amen? :)
I love the survey Amanda! It is always so much fun to see how excited students get to collect data :)

Thank you for sharing this freebie! We are going to investigate our friends' answers to these questions tomorrow morning!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the survey! Is their a version that is editable? Our district has a question of the day and I would love to input that question into this wonderful format!
