President's Day {Freebies}

I have had a fabulous start to my nice three day weekend.  I was able to go and visit my mother this morning at her church where we did pysanky.  If you are not familiar with pysanky, it is a way to decorate eggs using wax and dye.  I have been doing it for six years now.  I love it.  You pray as you are creating your egg.  Here are a couple pictures of some of my pysanky.

I usually pray for the person I am making the egg for as I create it.  If you ever have a class in your area, I strongly encourage you to try it out.  We do classes at my mom's church and my church each Lenten season.
