Hi all! I am linking up for the first time with Michelle from Fabulous in First for the Sunday Smorgasbord. Sunday Smorgasbord.....a post full of randomness.......sounds like my kind of fun since in my brain that is usually what happens..lots of randomness.
{1} I applied for grad school. I am waiting to hear if I got into the program. I should know sometime this week. I will going to grad school with two other teachers in my district, but we are not starting until January. I am a little nervous about going back to school. Wish me luck!
{2} We just got back from a little family vacation this week. It was so relaxing and so much fun. We were on the lake and having a blast. This was probably our favorite boating activity.
{3} My hubby and I get to enjoy our own little vacation for our TEN year anniversary. I can't believe I get 5 days alone with him and I also can't believe that we have been married for 10 years......seems like yesterday. Love this man!
{4} I am loving my garden this year. I have never ever had a green thumb before in my life, but this year I am actually able to grow some fruit and vegetables. Take a look:
Cherry tomatoes (I just picked) and my jalapeños
My first cantaloupe....can't wait til it's ripe :)
Is this baby watermelon not the cutest thing ever?
More baby watermelons
My bell pepper plant
{5} Yesterday I almost had a panic attack when I realized that I officially only had one month of summer left :( Really I have a little less because I have professional development in August before school starts. I am itching to get into my classroom and get to work, but I am trying to hold out until my student teacher is in town.
{6} As promised, I am having a MEGA giveaway for reaching 400 followers on bloglovin' and TpT. Check it out! :)
The giveaway starts today and ends next Sunday (7/21 at midnight). Thanks to all of those who donated!

I have a new position - still special education, but CT, not in 1 classroom like I have been for the last 13 yrs. Everything will be new as I push-in to other classrooms & grade levels. I'm excited! dbednarsk@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteYour giveaway looks great! I'm so glad to be a part of it! Your garden looks fabulous. Ours didn't do very well this year at all. We have had so much rain down here in the south. So disappointed! Enjoy yours!
