June Currently

I can't believe it is already June!  This year has flown by.  I am linking up with Farley today for the June Currently linky.

Listening:  My kids just got up and they are playing together nicely and giggling about something.  That is my favorite sound in the world hearing a kid laugh & giggle.

Loving:  Summer Vacation started for me on Tuesday and I have been loving it.  Last week we were super busy and had many things to do each day.  This week is going to be more relaxed and filled with fun for the kids.

Thinking:  I created three long to-do lists for my summer ~ one for home, one for school, and one for the craft projects I have put off during the year.  This is my time to get them done!  All these lists are long, but I am just going to work through them one item at a time instead of worrying about getting them all done at once.  I have all summer.  :)

Wanting:  The biggest project on my to-do list of school is to completely organize my closet.  I am going to take EVERYTHING out of it and then go through it all before putting anything back.  I had planned on going up last week to start this project, but instead decided that I would give myself the week off of anything school related.

Needing:  Sunshine.....it has been rainy and cloudy here.  Hoping for some sunshine to come soon.

3 Vacy Essentials:  I can't go anywhere without my brush and sunglasses and no vacation is complete without sunscreen.  I do not like to get burnt!!!

I am off to play with my kiddos.  I hope you all enjoy your weekend!!  :)

  2. I hope you get your to-do lists completed this summer! I should probably get a piece of paper (or three) out and do the same. I might actually get something done!

  5. I too have to do lists, but I keep mine organized using a program/app called Evernote that syncs so it's always updated whether I'm working from my computer, iPad, or iPhone. I agree with having to have a brush and sunglasses. I have I think about a bazillion pairs of sunglass; a couple pairs in my car, hubby's truck, in the house and of course you have to have a brush in your purse.

  10. I love the idea of categorizing the To-Do list. I'm going to do that right now. I have so many school and home projects on my list. Number one on the list is organizing my closet, too. I need to weed some stuff out so that everything fits. My closet is stuffed to the max and so unorganized right now.

    Enjoy your summer :)

  12. Great summer vacay items! I too hate getting burnt, so I must have plenty of sunscreen with me.

Also, I with you on wishing closets could organize themselves. My school ones are okay, but my home ones are a wreck!

Good luck getting everything on your lists done. Sounds like your summer is off to a great start!
