This week's topic is if you were stranded on a deserted island what three things would you have to have with you?
1. Chapstick - I said it last week, but I love me some chapstick especially during the summer. My lips get sunburnt easily {I am just weird or does this happen to anyone else?} so I am very diligent in making sure I have chapstick on my lips at all times.
2. iPhone - It is kinda sad how attached I am to my phone. I really and truly try not to be, but it keeps me connected to my family, friends, blog, TpT, etc. I just don't think I could survive without it.
3. My kiddos - I swear my kids are the best EVER!!! They are hilarious and would definitely be my entertainment on a deserted island. In fact today my son came up to me and said "If there was a problem yo, I'd solve it. Check out the hook while my D.J. revolves it." Ha!! It cracks me up that he knows the words to "Ice Ice Baby". My daughter is equally as funny like when I was talking about my sister whose name is Cassidy, but the kids call her Aunt Cass. I said something about Cassidy and she said "Who is that? I don't know a Cassidy" and I said "You know Aunt Cass." She proceeded to say, "Well why didn't you just say that in the first place mom?" Ha! Those two definitely keep me on my toes. :)
Here they are with trouble pieces up their noses. Yep, they are all mine....ha! Wouldn't want them any other way!!
I am also going to link up with Lisa and Katie for the Shout Out Linky. You give a shout out to a blog that has more followers than you and one that has less followers than you.
My first shout out is for one of my BBFF (Bloggy Best Friend Forever ;) Khrys over at Keepin' It Kool In Kinderland. I am sure you have heard of her blog....if you haven't you really need to check it out. She has great ideas and is super sweet. I love reading about the happenings in her classroom. And she told me about a fun linky she is going to be doing with another bloggy friend and I am super excited about it!!!
You also need to check out her ah-mazing TpT store. She has awesome products. I have quite a few of them and everything I have is top notch!!
My second shout out is for Sara over at Polka Dot Kinders. I just adore her cute blog. I mean really anything with cupcakes must be spectacular and she doesn't disappoint! I love her ideas for the kinder kiddos. If you haven't checked out her blog yet, you need to head on over by clicking the image below. She is hosting a giveaway at the moment too!
I had a nice relaxing Sunday evening. We made our first bonfire of the season and had some family over.
Here is my cutie pie great niece {yes, I am a great aunt....no, I'm not that old!!! ;)} with her "mad face" and then her "happy face." How can you not smile at these pics?
Before I leave for the night, I want to remind you to enter the giveaway I am having with my sweet friend Elizabeth. Click on the image to head to the giveaway post.
Here are some other fabulous giveaways by some other great bloggers. A few have some donations for yours truly! :)
